Welcome to a tiny edition of May I spoon you?!
As an educator, I dread the week before Christmas and Spring break. Although these should be joyous occasions the week before these breaks are full of deadlines. I am currently working 100% from home (although that might change soon, more to come on that...) but I still get anxious when I look at my To-Do list. I will not be writing my newsletter this week, I am going to focus on getting my stuff done for work and writing an extra special newsletter next week.
I decided I am not going to feel guilty or anxious for not writing. I hope this serves you as a reminder that getting off track is not the end of the world. Do not be so hard on yourself, remember that showing up is enough. We all really are trying as best as we can.
I wanted to share what has brought me joy this week, art. I am going to share my favorite Instagram artists. Please follow and support them if you can. Enjoy!
When I am feeling down, I look at their feed and it instantly lifts my spirits. There are beautiful reminders that art is so important during these hard times. I hope they know how much their art and talent have helped me get through these last couple of months.
Thank you for sharing this space with me. See you next week and please stay safe!
I love the post from @andrecaceresg!! Currently no. 8--I have to get groceries today!
