Hello! Welcome to May I spoon you?

I am so glad you are here. This is May I spoon you? A weekly newsletter about living with Lupus, the daily struggle of my condition but taking comfort in the small things.

What to expect.

Every Monday, I will send out a newsletter to your inbox sharing my experience with Lupus. I was diagnosed with Lupus in my late twenties and quickly took to the internet to find everything and all I could consume about my condition. I purchased books and joined Facebook support groups but was left with more questions than answers. As I have gotten older, I have noticed more drastic changes to my body due to my condition. Very little information is provided as to how I can manage my Lupus (besides medication, which I don’t qualify for [more on that later]). Thus, May I spoon you? was born. I hope to share with your the following:

This week… - a weekly curation of what brought joy and happiness to my life during the week

In Lupus news… - a weekly roundup of news from medical professionals backed by science and research

Now, May I spoon you? - a virtual gift to YOU to bring you tingles and comfort

About me.

I am Diana (she/her/ella). An educator, dog mom, and avid reader of all things. I currently reside in Southern NM.
