Welcome to a tiny version of May I spoon you?! I hope this week finds you well and thank you for sharing this space with me. The rising temperatures in southern NM remind me that summer is fast approaching. While it is customary to make resolutions on New Year's eve, in 2021 I have decided to make them before summer hits. I’ve been working since the pandemic hit in March of 2020. At that time, I was working on a graduate course and working full time. At night, I was trying to figure out how I was going to teach my kids online. Thankfully, the semester ended fairly seamlessly but work for me had just begun. I was asked to be part of a curriculum building team for my district and I spent most of my summer doing that and the rest planning for the new school year. This along with professional development workshops and conferences had me working most of the summer from my kitchen table. The argument that
